Welcome to the FAQ page about questions we get about our services. Here is a list of the questions we have gotten so far.
1) Can I bring my own diapers?
Of course you can. We provide 1 eurobrief (Now called Uniquebriefs) which was designed to be worn for 12 hours. Any other diapers you would need for the stay you will need to bring yourself or you can buy additional eurobriefs when you arrive for $2.00 each.
2) Do you have a washer and dryer to clean my cloth diapers?
Yes we do have a washer and dryer for you to use to clean your cloth diapers. We hope that will make it easier to use cloth diapers with us.
3) Can I have my diaper changed more than once per stay?
Yes you can, however there is a $20.00 charge per diaper change. If you don't have a problem with that then the limit to diaper changes is up to you. Also the diaper changes are done by a male, The female that used to change diapers is no longer with us so it is done by Stanley until a new female diaper changer is found. If you don't feel comfortable with a male, it's fine to change yourself. Otherwise, change away! :)
4) Do you change dirty (poopy) diapers?
No, we don't change dirty diapers. It's just way more complicated than a wet one. For use to deal with dirty diapers we would also need to give the client a bath/shower as well to remove all the poop off their body. And that just is too much trouble. We change wet diapers, but no, not dirty diapers. What we do in that case is have you remove the diaper and if you wish to take a shower you can do so, when your ready we can put the new diaper on you though.
5) Who changes the diapers?
Stanley does. The "mommy" we had doing it passed away so the service is left to Stanley to do. If you don't mind a male changing you. We are looking for a new female that is willing to change diapers, untill then, Stanley is able to do that if you feel comfortable with a male changing you. Otherwise you can do it yourself.
6) Does anyone give me a bath?
No, sorry. As said before the Nusery and Breakfast is not a baby sitting session. Although we have alot of baby activities for you we don't baby you which is how we are able to keep the overall price so low. Of course, your totally free to take a bath or shower as often as you desire.
7) Do I have to stay in bed after the 10:00PM bed time?
No, but keep in mind there is no one to entertain you past the 10:00PM bed time. It will be up to you to entertain yourself. Sorry. We do have cable TV and wifi internet if you have a laptop computer for you to use if you cannot sleep.
8) If I pay with a credit card will it say "Nursery and Breakfast"?
No, the e-bill that is sent to your e-mail for the credit card or pay pal payments just has the name "Stanley" on it. There will be nothing that indicates that you have stayed with us.
9) Could I bring another AB with me?
Yes you can, but that AB would also have to pay his $40.00 per night as well as any money's for extra's he/she wants. We only have one crib right now, so the friend would be sleeping in a twin bed.
10) Can I come sooner than the 7:00PM check in time?
Yes, however you would not be babied with stories, toys or a movie untill 7:00PM. Sorry. We would just not be ready yet.
11) Why is the price only $40.00 per night? Shouldn't it be more?
We have been getting this question a lot lately actually. One reason we can afford the low rate is the house is shared by room mates. The other room mates pay for the house when we don't have many guests.
Also the other reason we can afford to charge less is this is not a baby sitting session. We don't do fantacies and such. We don't spank or punish anyone. It's basically a hotel room but your staying in a nursery room instead of a cold white room, and then of course you can get your diaper changed, read a story and fed breakfast in the morning.
So we can afford to charge such a low rate to guests. Which is also a plus because a place you could maybe only afford one day at, you can stay up to maybe 3 or 4 with us and that's overnight in a crib. You can't normally get that with a baby sitting session anyway, it's normally just an hour and during the day. So that's how we can afford to keep the price to cheap. :)
12) Where are you located?
We are located in a town called Redding. It's about 150 miles north of Sacramento of interstate 5 freeway (Cypress Exit).
13) Can I get a bottle during the middle of the night or at bed time?
Yes. You can have a bottle at bed time or anytime you would like one while you are here. All you have to do is ask. :)
14) What kind of furnature do you have in the room?
Right now we have a adult size crib. We just got a playpen (It's acutally called a play yard) that we are making changes to so it can support the weight of an adult, but it can only hold one person. You can see a picture of the playpen here:
